My father-in-law carried this pocket knife all through WWII. When I married his daughter which I have carried for 50 years. Simplicity in design and sharp.
Learned about the Christy Knife from my father who always had one on his key ring. He remembered buying it at the local hardware store for a dollar when he was a youngster. After 50 years of daily carry the original started to show its age, and he tasked me with finding a replacement. Even though the imprinted name had long since worn away on it I was happy to find the Christy Knife Company's website when the internet became commonplace and purchased him a new one along with one of my own. Have comeback many more times in the decades since then to purchase more for my kids, relatives and friends. Glad to see that your company stays in business and continues to manufacture the Christy Knife in the USA!
Discovered these when looking through my uncles estate. But it was presumably my grandfathers. It still looks and works great, so decided to gift one to my brother this year.
